For families spread across countriesGifts for parents in India, arranged from abroad
Being far from your parents makes the small days harder. Considy lets you remember them with a cake, flowers or a gift, delivered by someone local, with a photo to show it arrived.
The days that matter most
Birthdays, milestone birthdays such as a sixtieth or seventieth, wedding anniversaries, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, and the festivals you used to spend together. A phone call is good. A knock on the door with something thoughtful is better.
Ideas that work from a distance
- A cake and a bouquet together. Simple, personal, and easy for a vendor to deliver at a set time.
- Flowers for a mother, on an ordinary Tuesday. An unexpected delivery means more than a planned one.
- A gift for a milestone. Tell Alina the budget and the person. She will suggest options a local vendor can fulfil.
- A thank-you for a neighbour or relative who looks after your parents when you cannot.
How to set it up
- Ask a sibling or relative for the exact address and a phone number to use on delivery day.
- Message Alina on WhatsApp with what you would like to send and when.
- Approve the price and pay through the secure link.
- Receive the photo from the vendor, then call your parents while it is still a surprise.
What your parents need to do
Nothing. They do not need WhatsApp, an app or an account. Only you message Alina. Your parents simply receive a delivery from a local business in their own city.
Where it works today
Mumbai and Delhi. If your parents live elsewhere in India, ask Alina. She will tell you plainly whether she can arrange it.
Common questions
What should I send my parents in India for their birthday?
A cake with flowers is the simplest. For a milestone birthday, tell Alina your budget and a little about them, and she will suggest options a local vendor can deliver.
Do my parents need to use WhatsApp?
No. Only you message Alina. Your parents receive a normal delivery at their door.
Can I surprise them?
Yes. Give Alina the delivery window and ask the vendor to keep it a surprise. Check the timing with a sibling or neighbour so someone is home.
How do I know it was delivered?
The vendor sends a photo on delivery and Alina passes it to you in the same chat. For deliveries, your payment is held until that photo is confirmed.
What does it cost?
The gift and delivery are priced by the vendor and shown to you before you pay. Your first request is on us, then a membership is A$10 for six months or A$15 for twelve, paid once.
