Considy ("we", "us") is operated by [legal entity name], ABN [ABN], of [registered address]. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our WhatsApp concierge (Alina), our website and our vendor and caller portals, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
If you are a client: your phone number, name, email (if you give it), country, the requests you send Alina (including delivery addresses, dates and any details you mention), the conversation itself, your subscription status, your marketing preference, and payment records. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
If you are a vendor: your business name, category, address, phone and email, menu and service areas, your conversations with Alina, and, where you are paid through us, bank details needed to send you payouts.
If you visit our website: the page you viewed, the site you came from, and a one-way daily code derived from your device and network (not your IP address or any cookie), which lets us count visitors without identifying them. We do not use advertising cookies.
Businesses we contact: we find businesses through public sources such as Google Maps and may message them on WhatsApp or SMS to invite them to partner with us. We hold the business's public contact details and our messages to them. Reply STOP at any time and we will not contact you again.
To fulfil your requests, match you with vendors, take payment and pay vendors, send reminders and receipts, provide support, keep the service secure and prevent fraud, meet our legal and tax duties, and improve Alina's responses. If you opt in, we also send occasional offers; you can opt out at any time by replying STOP. We do not sell your personal information.
Alina is an artificial-intelligence assistant, not a person. Your messages are processed by an AI model provided by Anthropic so that Alina can understand and answer you. Members of our team may read conversations to support you, resolve disputes, keep the service safe and improve how Alina works. We do not use your messages to train our own AI models. If you would rather deal with a person, email hello@considy.com.
Vendors. When you make a request, the relevant details (what you want, where and when, and how to reach you) are shared with the vendors we send it to so they can quote and fulfil it. Service providers that process information for us under their own privacy and security terms:
We may also share information where the law requires, to protect someone's safety, or to a successor if the business is sold.
Our servers are in Australia, but some providers above process information in other countries, mainly the United States and, in some cases, other countries where they operate. We choose providers with appropriate security commitments, and we remain responsible for your information when it is handled for us.
Our website uses HTTPS; vendor bank details are encrypted when stored; administrative systems are password-protected and support two-factor authentication; access to our servers is limited to authorised keys; and database backups are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
If you write a card on The Unsaid, we collect the sentence you write, the first name or word you give for the person it is for (for example Amma), your first name if you choose to add it, and the two cities you pick. When you press Post, we also keep a salted one-way code derived from your network address, which we use only to limit how many cards one connection can post and to spot repeat abuse; it is not your address and is not shown to anyone. We do not ask for your phone number, email, surname or photo, and we remove cards that contain them.
A card is private until you post it. After you post, a member of our team reads it, and we may use an automated check (an AI model provided by Anthropic) to help screen it. We may decline a card without giving a reason. Cards we approve appear on the public wall and on their own page, with a preview image that people can share; those pages are kept out of search engines, but anyone with the link can see them and can copy or screenshot them. We cannot remove copies other people or other platforms have already made.
You can delete your card at any time from the page you posted it on (using the device you posted from), or by emailing hello@considy.com with the link. Deleting removes it from our systems; it disappears from backups within 30 days. If the card was not approved we delete it within 30 days. When someone taps the button to send a cake from a card, the message goes to Alina on WhatsApp like any other request, and the rest of this policy applies to it. We count views, shares and taps on each card without identifying the people who made them.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it, then delete or de-identify it. In summary:
We may keep information longer where needed for an open dispute, complaint or legal obligation.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Message Alina from the number on your account, or email hello@considy.com. We will confirm who you are, usually by replying to your registered WhatsApp number, and respond within 30 days. Deleting your information will end your use of the service, and we may need to keep payment records for the period above. Deleted information also disappears from backups within 30 days. You can also opt out of marketing at any time by replying STOP.
If you are in the United Kingdom or European Union, you may also have rights to object to or restrict our use of your information and to take your data with you, and you can complain to your local data-protection authority.
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, tell us at hello@considy.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. If a change is significant, we will tell active clients through WhatsApp.
